Soul Expo 2026

Join in for the 3rd Annual Culture and Soul Expo on February 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the TAD Space. Hosted by the City of Martinsville as part of its annual Black History Month celebration, this year’s theme — Honoring Black Businesses — will spotlight the impact and legacy of Black-owned businesses in our community.


The evening will feature a keynote address from Derrick Ziglar, delicious food from Sue Sue’s Soul Food, and special recognition from the Minority Business Consortium honoring three outstanding Black-owned businesses for their contributions and impact in Martinsville.

Rives on the Road Opening Party 🎸🔥

Kick off the 2026 concert season at the Rives on the Road Opening Party featuring the all-star collaboration Guitarmageddon: Isaac & Kyser Destroy the World on Saturday, March 7 (6–10 PM) at Forest Park Country Club in Martinsville.


Season Passes are on sale now for $150 and include admission to the opening party (with open bar + catered dinner) plus entry to 5+ additional Rives on the Road shows throughout 2026. Passes are transferable, so you can share the experience if you can’t attend a show.

Piedmont Arts’ fabulous fundraiser returns at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 14, at the Martinsville High School Auditorium! Dancing for the Arts 2026 brings together local celebrities and community leaders for a high-energy dance competition — all to support the arts in Martinsville-Henry County.


Each team will perform two show-stopping routines — from salsa and ballroom to tango, swing, and more — in front of a live audience and expert judges. But the real power is in your hands! Every $1 equals one vote to support your favorite team and help fund Piedmont Arts’ exhibits, events, and educational programs. (Want to double your impact? Apply your donation toward a membership and receive double votes!)
